A special treat! Enjoy a quiet viewing of "Jacob Lawrence: The American Struggle" before the exhibition closes on November 1.

The exhibition features the little-seen series of paintings—"Struggle: From the History of the American People" (1954–56)—by the iconic American modernist and reunites the multi-paneled work for the first time in more than half a century.

Make sure to stick around to get a close look at panel 16—thought missing for decades, the panel was recently found and is now on view thanks to the help of a Met visitor. 💕
