Cozy vibes all the way from Gokayama, Toyama Prefecture in Japan 🍂

Located in the Shogawa basin, Gokayama is a mountain village that experiences heavy snowfall during the winter. The people of the valley adapted to the heavy snowfall by building "Gassho-style" houses, named because of the resemblance of the roof to the pose Japanese people assume when they bring their hands together to pray to the gods. In 1995, the three villages featuring these unique homes were registered on UNESCO's World Heritage list.
