When my parents decided to divorce, they never talked to me or my brothers about it. They stayed living together in our home, co-existing - but as kids, we knew the truth. Often times parents make decisions intended to spare their kids from pain, not realizing that what children really want is for both Mom and Dad to be happy...no matter what.
