世界有数のダイビングスポットであるボルネオ島に生息する希少種のヒキガエル『ボルネオ・レインボー・トード』をテーマにしたスペシャルなFROGMANの登場です。
今回のモデルは、エッチング加工で凹凸を付け、レインボーIPを施したステンレスベゼルやマルチカラーの文字板でボルネオ・レインボー・トードの皮膚感やカラーを表現。また、このレインボーIPは1点ずつ異なる色合いで、その種の希少性をも表現しました。更にスケルトンのウレタン素材をベゼル上部に組み合わせることで、ボルネオ・レインボー・トードが生息する環境のみずみずしさをイメージしました。

This FROGMAN GWF-A1000 Series features the coloring of the very rare Borneo rainbow toad which inhabits in Borneo, a renowned diving spot in the world.
The stainless steel bezel is etched to create depressions and is finished with rainbow ion plating (IP) to create the look and feel of a Borneo rainbow toad. The rainbow IP creates different and unique coloring for each model, which represents the rarity for the rainbow toad. In combination with the semitransparent urethane of the parts gripping the bezel, this captures the image of the habitat of the rainbow toad.
