Ahead of the US election on November 3, former Global Cultural Director of Magnum Photos, now photography and art consultant Sophie Wright (@wrightsophie) looks back at the Magnum publication 'America in Crisis', which offers many an alarming parallel to the politics of the present day as we move toward the 2020 US Election.

Released in 1969, the book aimed to document the lead-up to that year's presidential election, and featured work by 18 Magnum photographers.
