I have had a front row seat to Black History. I never dreamed of meeting Ivy Leauge graduates, business owners, activists, senators, and presidents....who looked like me! I know there are those who look at these pictures and only see policies...you don’t and may never understand. I’m not a democrat or republican. I’m a product of my environment who transcended it and appreciate others who have as well. We went from being considered property to showing little black children like me that we are made in the Image of God. The work is never done. But if we don’t stop and appreciate where God has brought us from we rob Him of his glory. To my my detractors who profess the name of Christ...get used to me you’ll be with me for eternity. And yes it is possible to care for the unborn, the poor, the disenfranchised, the orphan, and the widow all at once. I live and work in proximity to it all.
