The Tatra Chamois. Due to efforts from the national park services in the early 2000’s its population has been steadily climbing since then. It is still endangered as a species but its beautiful when initiatives work. During our trip we saw them almost everyday in the alpine munching on dried grass.
Always humbling to see wild animals in their environment.
