We’re planning to hold Christmas festivities at the museum in December... see the traditional decorations, enjoy delicious festive food, find that perfect present on the Edwardian stalls and visit Father Christmas in The Pit Village. We’re continuing to follow the national COVID-19 restrictions and will be announcing more details, including timeslot tickets, on our social media and website as soon as we have further information about the government’s COVID-19 rules and our reopening – we’ll keep you updated! While the museum is closed during November due to the coronavirus pandemic, we’re delighted to be able to offer video calls with Father Christmas. Children will be able to chat to Santa Claus as he sits by the fireside in his cosy Edwardian cottage, starting from this weekend (14th November). You can invite family and friends to join you on the call to share the magical moments.
