Last year, measles cases surged to their highest level in 23 years. Now, COVID-19 has disrupted immunization campaigns in 26 countries and left more than 94 million children at risk of missing their measles vaccines. As we respond to one disease, we cannot turn our backs on another. It’s time for urgent action to safely resume measles vaccinations and protect children from the looming threat of new outbreaks.
