Contrary to what some people who work for @Instagram believe, Antifa are anti fascists. So for those not paying attention, Donald Trump, who is still president until January, encouraged his fascist Nazi supporters to chase anti fascists. The Proud Boys rallied to lie about election results. The Proud Boys, the ones marching down the Dc streets yelling "fuck Antifa" yesterday, are Nazis. They just made a public statement announcing that they are firing their "Cuban" leader while admitting they only hired him to appeal to people of color. They stated they would be more nazi like from now on. These are the same white supremacists that Trump asked to "stand by" during the debates. This is an attempted coup by Nazi loving white supremacists. This very dangerous for the country and specifically dangerous for marginalized people. Pay attention.
Sidebar - while running in 2016 Trump asked police to "rough up" suspects while arresting them. Even the PBA denounced his call for police brutality. During the protests over George Floyd and Breonna Taylor Trump asked police to use violence on protested he called "thugs." Twitter flagged that tweet for encouraging violence. Now he is asking DC police to be violent with anti fascists. They are trying to normalize fascism. The first thing you learn when you join the Proud Boys is that they see violence as a necessary solution. Then they cry when they get exactly what they asked for. I've said it before but I mean it more than ever now. MAGA is terrorism and I fear that we will wait until they cause real physical harm to innocent people before calling them what they clearly want to be. #VanillaISIS
