At the last minute, they asked if they could bring fifteen adoptable dogs, so we set up an impromptu puppy pen in the parking lot. I remember seeing a van full of dogs pull up and inside was a six month old puppy wearing a pink sweater that I’ll never forget. When I found out he had already been adopted twice and given back both times, I took him home on the spot. He's always so sweet with our foster dogs and makes them feel at home.
