Heng Ong Huat ah! The Singapore Hokkien Huay Kuan (SHHK) celebrated their 180th anniversary with a meaningful ceremony yesterday. SHHK has evolved together with Singapore over the years, making many contributions in the arts, culture and social services, and helping Singapore become a leading education hub.

I hope that the Hokkien Huay Kuan will continue to grow from strength to strength. Happy 180th anniversary! – LHL
