Minimal face-to-face interaction now can interfere with our sense of reality. Our means to stay connected now is through social media platforms and not social gatherings. This can be a mental health trap. We see people’s workout routines, meal preps, edited and filtered photos, which aren’t always true. These posts can be troubling. Viewers can often get thoughts about feeling lazy, underprepared, and feeling they aren’t doing or being enough.
