ミーガン・マーチンさんのインスタグラム写真 - (ミーガン・マーチンInstagram)「The first time I went to Yosemite was in 2004 after Youth Sport Nationals in Sacramento. I was 14 years old and my mom let me stay a little longer with a couple of friends and their dad so that I could see Yosemite and hopefully climb a bit. I only remember a few things from that trip and I actually have no photos since cameras on cell phones wasn’t a thing at that time. I remember it was quite hot since it was July, I remember Mr. Fischer setting up a top rope on something, I remember jumping off of a rock into a river, and I remember trying the opening moves on Midnight Lightning (which happened to be the first time I ever bouldered outside). Ever since I moved to Sacramento, I’ve wanted to make it back out to Yosemite, but something always came up. Finally, this past weekend, over 16 years later, I made it back to Yosemite with my love and our good friend. The forecast called for rain on Friday night, but we were hoping that by Sunday most of the boulders would be dry enough to climb. I almost liked the fact that it was rainy Friday and pretty much too wet to top out most boulders on Saturday, because it was just so fun to roam around checking out boulders, trying some moves here and there and finding the occasional dry boulder, like that cool unnamed V0 arête in the Crumbs that is quite nerve wrecking but also so much fun, all without it being crowded. On Sunday it was nice to see that so many of the boulders were dry enough to climb. I am so psyched to have been able to do Across the Tracks V10, Thriller V10 (pictured above), and King Cobra V8 (holy moly that one was scary!). On top of checking out so many cool boulders, it was really nice to run into a few friends throughout the day. There seems to be an endless number of boulders to try in Yosemite and I can’t wait to go back soon! @soill @organicclimbing @jtreelife @gnarlynutrition @frictionlabs @alpinestartfoods @craftedenergy 📸 by @shawnraboutou」11月17日 5時11分 - meaganmartin89
