I never really prayed when I was younger for reasons I talked about in the book but it was always very foreign to me and I didn’t know if I could trust it. It wasn’t until my relationship with Mike that I have truly got down on my hands and knees and prayed because I’m not strong enough to hold it all myself. Everyday I get more comfortable praying and even in this pic when we were in Cabo I was praying and mike had said, “what are you doing ?” and I got embarrassed but then I was like “I’m praying asking God to just help me with my anxiety while we are away.” It’s amazing how praying has not only helped me but also shown me signs along the way... (SPOILER ALERT with our book)....like the night before I found out I was pregnant with Jace. I said...”Dear God, please show me a sign. Give me a reason to stay. Give me something to keep fighting for if it’s the path I’m supposed to be on. Show me that this relationship is worth fighting for. Show me that sign please.” The next morning I found out I was pregnant with our second child, Jace. I go on to say in the book that some people may call that a fluke but I know what it was and that’s all that matters. I asked God for help, I asked God for clarity and though God in no way, shape or form told me what to do....God gave me a sign of hope. You’re not weak to ask for help and you are for sure not alone.
