In Brazil, my home country, there are 12 million people living in favelas without access to clean water and sanitation, which means they are unable to protect themselves from the virus. Now over *160,000 people have died from COVID-19. Today is World Toilet Day, a day to remind ourselves that a third of people around the world don’t have access to clean water and safe toilets making it impossible to wash their hands more often and make hygiene a top priority to stay safe. This is why I am joining the #TOGETHERBAND campaign as an Ambassador for Goal 6: Clean Water and Sanitation. Together we can make a difference. Hoje é o Dia Mundial do Banheiro, um dia para nos lembrarmos que um terço das pessoas em todo o mundo não tem acesso a água potável e banheiros seguros, sendo assim impossível lavar as mãos com mais frequência e fazer da higiene uma prioridade para se manter seguro.
