Presented to the Empress Eugénie upon her engagement in 1853, the Bee Bottle’s intricate bee motif – inspired by Paris’ Place Vendôme - was intended as an homage to the military might of the French Empire. A gift fit for royalty, as creator Pierre-François-Pascal Guerlain intended.
