The Pittman Hotel, situated in the Deep Ellum neighborhood of Dallas, Texas, is a 165-room boutique hotel constructed within a historic 1916 landmark building originally designed by the architect William Sidney Pittman, son of Booker T. Washington. That's a lot of history to carry for a hotel, and architects Perkins&Will were intent on preserving as much of it as possible during construction. In their effort to maintain the historical skeleton of the building, @perkinswill collaborated with the Dallas Historical Society.
