Photography can be used to document something that already exists or to create a new image to express an idea. I find both exciting, but creating a photograph from scratch has the special appeal of being more challenging to one’s imagination. The idea in your mind must be told through casting, location, style and all the means necessary to convey it. And then, when you have achieved something that looks exactly as you wanted it to look, you still need to work all angles to find the perfect imagery.

La fotografía se puede utilizar para documentar algo que ya existe o para crear una nueva imagen y expresar una idea. Ambas me parecen emocionantes, pero crear una fotografía desde cero tiene el atractivo especial de ser más desafiante para la imaginación. La idea en tu mente debe contarse a través del casting, la ubicación, el estilo y todos los medios necesarios para transmitirla. Y luego, cuando has logrado algo que se ve exactamente como lo imaginaste, aún necesitas explorar todos los ángulos para encontrar la imagen precisa.
