GOLDEN YEARS 45 IS 45 TODAY

“Nothing’s gonna touch you in these golden years...”

David Bowie’s Golden Years single was originally released in the UK forty five years ago today. The track was taken from the upcoming Bowie/Maslin produced Station To Station and it reached #8 in the UK and was Top Ten in the US too.

The US position was no doubt helped by Bowie’s appearance on Soul Train earlier in the month, when both Golden Years and the recent US #1 Fame were performed.
