In the fall of 2015, one of the most spectacular show cars in 134 years of automotive history went into series production: The G 500 4x4² with enormous portal axles from the three-axle G 63 AMG 6x6, complete with double spring damper legs and adjustable damping. The chassis offers an overwhelming 450 millimeters ground clearance and 1,000 millimeters fording depth.
