Don’t be afraid, I know it’s steep and scary, but I promise you, the view from up here SO beautiful, AND you’ll be so proud of yourself! His little voice ringing though the quiet canyon at dusk, so full of excitement, and more wisdom than I was honestly comfortable with. SO-I started my awkward, embarrassing way up but MY GOD was he right! It was worth every single unsure step in my now dirt filled shoes, every winded breath and shaky nerve just to be sitting there on that crumbling piece of rock looking out into the beautiful unknown with my marvelous little men. They never want to be in photos but suddenly they wanted a picture of us, together, to celebrate our accomplishment. WE DID IT! This moment captures the exhalation and pride that comes with being on the other side of what @glennondoyle a badass mom and writer I adore likes to call “Doing hard things” Its true, we can all do hard things, big and small, even when we think we can’t, or have forgotten that we ever could.
