I was last up out of the GB girls and all routines count towards the final score (unlike Europeans where 4 compete and the best 3 scores count), so there is no room for errors. My teammates before me competed really well and had posted great scores to the scoreboard. There were sadly a few big mistakes from other countries, but this meant that if I completed routine we would medal, and if I didn’t we would likely miss out on a World Championships Medal. I felt very nervous, and found these extra nerves more difficult to control than normal, I found strength from my team cheering me on and to perform the best I could for them.
