True story: I saw this dog at the flea market, and I went up to her mom and basically forced her to come over so I could give her dog a makeover. She was a bit skeptical but clearly entertained (and she definitely thought I was a loon). The pressure was on. She didn’t know me from a peanut on the floor, and I knew I had to deliver. Especially because there was a twist: it was the dog’s birthday on the day of her grooming! I wasn’t sweating but I was fired up. I needed to bust out my best shears, put on Neil Diamond and do some light stretching. The verdict: she loved it. A redemption story for the ages.
