In July during my at home press tour for @hamiltonmusical film, @CUSHNIE was one of the incredible brands who supported me without hesitation. Established in 2008, by @CarlyCushnie, the collection was designed to achieve the perfect fit for the female form. The brand empowered me with a sense of confidence and strength during an unusual year where we learned to work in the most unusual of circumstances. While Cushnie has sadly closed in recent weeks, I will always be amazed by Carly’s accomplishments and am grateful for her support throughout my career. Covid has certainly affected people in so many different ways, but as I say thank you and goodbye to Cushnie— let’s be reminded of the importance of continuing to support black owned businesses, the arts, and freelancers working in creative industries during this difficult time.
