It was a delightful surprise for me and Stu because, I recall we were asking him to direct the videos for Sing along and Good look. The meeting took place at Kamikaze Douga with me, Hiro, Takayasu, Himi, Jumpei with Stu connected on line. It was July 28th. Prior to this meeting Jumpei asked to listen to Sound & Fury. My job was to negotiate with the label to send it to Jumpei. This was one of the mission that I had to deal with throughout this project, getting the NDA signed and make sure that the creators had access to the album. During the meeting, Jumpei contacted Takashi Okazaki who was the main character designer for Batman Ninja and author of Afro Samurai. Takashi instantly said he wanted to get on board.
