ニューバランスのランニングシューズの礎を築いた1970年代のレトロ・ランニングシューズをモダンデザインに再構築したニューモデル「327」。1970年代のニューバランスを代表するランニングシューズ「320」「355」「Super Comp」の3つのモデルから、それぞれのモデルの象徴的なデザイン、ディテールを取り入れ、その要素をアレンジしてニューバランスのヘリテージに基づきながら、現代のトレンドやデザインの観点からスタイリッシュに仕上げた新しいシルエットにアップデート。ナイロン素材の採用や爪先や踵部のアウトソールの巻き上げ、ラギッドなアウトソールデザインからのレトロなイメージに、オーバーサイズのNロゴの存在感、シューズ全体を現代的な新しいシルエットとして印象付けるどのアングルから見てもフレアなミッドソールが新鮮さを生み出す。シューズの外側と内側で異なるカラーを配したアシンメトリーなカラーリングが目を引く。
