Based on these per month streaming numbers that means for 19 million streams I've received around 5,000 dollars from Spotify this year. That's like a couple of bills paid. That's far from fair, but artists keep music on this unfair platform because it's where the vast majority of music consumers go to listen to music. We still want to be heard, so we allow ourselves to be taken advantage of for the fans convenience.
