In 2019, Lt Cdr @petereed, one of Britain’s most decorated sportsmen and an officer in the Royal Navy, was returning to his military career after 15 years of winning Olympic and world championship gold medals for rowing. Then, during a training exercise, he suffered a spinal stroke which ultimately left him paralysed him from the chest down. Ever since, he has documented his recovery on social media, providing a powerful source of inspiration through his determination, spirit and courage.
