Intended as a place to entertain clients, the crests and logos that decorate the interior represent the businesses that supported the venture back then, some of which are still in operation today. The theater was also a place for local citizens to indulge in their passion for culture. 2020 has scuppered so much in the worlds of art, culture, and travel. But it's also highlighted the universal appeal and importance of creation, play, and community. To be invited here as one of the first guests to enjoy a dinner prepared by local chefs was a privilege I hope many more have the opportunity to enjoy soon.
