This unusual and lively gold snuff box was crafted in Germany circa 1770 🐞🦋 The lid is adorned with a cluster of brightly-coloured hardstone and stained-glass ladybirds and beetles confronting an onyx fly, while the sides see bright butterflies dancing on the creamy waves of agate.
