It has been an honour to work alongside @studio_fulton @cozettemc & @bethany_williams_london and the incredible cross industry team of over 150 volunteers to help produce over 50,000 surgical gowns and 10,000 scrubs and masks for over 40 hospitals and care homes during this years pandemic outbreak and our work is still ongoing. We would like to thank every single individual who has volunteered, donated, couriered, cut, sewn, stitched, ironed, washed, packed, delivered, trialed, tested, graded, priced, stored, promoted, fundraised and ultimately wore these garments in order to keep us safe. It has been incredible to see what can be achieved when we work as an industry together ♥️ there are so, so many of you out there who made this response possible ♥️ and this award is for each and every one of you who came together and made this network happen in order to support our precious key health workers during this awful year. From the @britishfashioncouncil : @bethany_williams_london @cozettemc @phoebeenglish @studio_fulton are being recognised for setting up the @emergencydesignernetwork in response to the Covid-19 pandemic. Through the Emergency Designer Network, they helped to create 50,000 surgical gowns, 10,000 sets of scrubs for health workers in the UK. Since April 2020, they have worked with 40 NHS Trusts and 150 makers, creating a community of experts showing the power of London's fashion community.
