This year we’ll be enjoying a Finnish style Christmas celebration here at home in Perth. We’ll miss our usual extended family celebrations but there will be another time, a safer time, for us to celebrate together again. Since the beginning of this year it’s been a rollercoaster of emotions and I’m sure everyone is feeling it. I’m still hanging out for that hug with my parents after they went through the horrific bushfires. It’s kind of like I’ve been holding my breath for a really long time. I know that it’s going to be a very long hug and big exhale of love, gratitude and relief when I finally see them again. It’s absolutely so crazy to think that was almost a year ago!
