At the completion of the airing of our 20 eps yest(you can binge watch all 20 eps on @mewatch.mediacorp !) ,I thought about what to share. Reading a comment by our prod crew about how it took so long to shoot but in a blink of an eye, has finished airing.

If you are curious to know, this drama took almost 3 months to finish filming, in the second half of the year. Pre production took even longer, I still rem having our first zoom meeting in March this year for our cast meeting. normally we would meet face to face in the company.

With much preproduction involved like the writing, amendments, casting, sourcing of locations, imaging etc etc, it really takes a village to put what we see on the screen together. This drama had been a little different, from the storyline, direction, diff things were attempted. I am very very thankful to work tog with a team whose focus was really to take what we have and flow and focus in the direction of being relatable, heartfelt and trying to show the heart behind each character.

I am v thankful for our EP, directors and scriptwriters who were open to ideas and also, their heart and hours of churning out what they had in mind for this drama. What a delight to be filming in this dynamic and everyone, from the camera crew, APs, PAs, hair and makeup, stylists, set and many others who invested in giving their A+.

How blessed I was to be able to act tog with so many veteran actors who are so so awesome: for eg, in the office, it was so delightful to act with Shucheng Dage, Xiangyun Jie, Guoliang Dage and Pat. Everyone gave their inputs and seeing how Rebecca tirelessly putting in the hours was really commendable. My role had the most scenes with Pierre and as usual, he never fail to surprise and impress.

I have to be biased and say thank you to Martin, Shuyi and Yaxin. You guys really put in so much and for that I’m really thankful. Thank you Meilian Jie too for being so supportive despite having to cope with your eye. Last but not least, you might be wondering why this article is posted. Acting to me is not abt personal accolades but I am thankful to share what I’ve learnt in this process.❤️🙏🏻TKU!
