After I decided to leave the group, I met with TAKAHIRO and with a serious look on his face he came up to me and said, ”I want to sing a ballad together with you for our last time together ”. At first I thought he was going to say something against me and I had butterflies in my stomach. A heartfelt moment, happy and touched, I was moved with TAKAHIRO’s words. So many emotions ran through me. During the 15 years, TAKAHIRO had never been as direct as that moment. The 2010 “FANTASY” tour came to mind, and I could remember when we sang “Motto Tsuyoku”. I also then remembered making a song together with POCHI, when I was studying abroad, so I mentioned that song to him. “There’s this song I’ve been waiting to release..” TAKAHIRO listened to the song and without hesitation he liked it. I finished writing the lyrics the next day and started recording right away. The last song as a 15 member EXILE, I think I was able to express my deep feelings through this song. The recording video is our last recording session for now but I do hope that there may be another time in the future to collaborate together again.
