Mariella Haubs (@mariellartist) performs the "Presto" from Bach's Sonata No. 1 in G minor from The Met's Musical Instruments galleries.

For anyone who's ever wondered if the instruments in our galleries get played—look closely. Mariella performs on "The Antonius" violin. Crafted by Antonio Stradivari in 1711, this beloved masterpiece came to the Museum in the spring of 1934 along with another violin by Stradivari, "The Francesca."
