Mr. Greenberg came from Vermont. A rescue from the Green Mountain Pug Rescue.

The Rescue brought him to our home in the country to make sure he would be going in to a good and stable home, and to see how we all got on. I was not sure I was ready for a new dog. The minute he was let off his leash, he jumped on to my lap on the sofa – one eye going left, the other eye rolling right. He sat there looking at me with his somewhat nutty stare, his head tilted to one side. At that moment, we were both very sure. We rescued one another.

The day Mr. Greenberg burst into our lives was the start of an incredibly happy adventure. He was indeed a bit nuts, neurotic for sure, and so incredibly needy – he was a perfect fit. He brought joy and laughter wherever he went; and left small pillow’s worth of shedding fur just in case you wanted a souvenir of his visit; even if you did not.
