This memory popped up in my phone the other day from December 11th, 2015 while doing the reality show #TheNext15 My whole story line was life after leaving #RHOA and going back to Cali & trying to put together a pop culture, hot topics, trending topics type talk show with the cast members on that show. There was so much unnecessary drama and push back and doubt- but in the end it ended up just being me and my talented and dear friend @karamo who had my back like no other and we shot it with just the 2 of us. We produced, hosted, edited it and called the show “The Comment. “ and despite some audio issues- this thing was DOPE and ready to go! I lowkey think we were ahead of our time with this one! We Shot our pilot in 45 minutes and had a guest on- the talented and awesome @ericbenet (thanks friend!!!!) Til this day- I wonder what could have happened if we woulda kept pushing this! BUT things seemed to work out for BOTH of us in the end! My boy has totally BLOWN UP, is everywhere ans went on and won himself an Emmy and I now host 3 talk shows on Fox Soul, host the Love and Hip Hop Reunions for @vh1 and got one more series in the works I’ll tell y’all about in 2021. 🙌🏾 It’s funny how despite some man made obstacles- things have a way of working out.
