The project works to educate and empower the people of Gambia – and the world – on how upcycling can allow us to create plastic yarn reducing the amount of waste that winds up in the environment. ⁣ ⁣ Her project has helped her local village reduce the amount of waste while increasing the opportunities for hundreds of women helping them to earn their own incomes.
