Winter wonderland, Jiuzhaigou National Park: photographers luck to catch a rare heavy snow fall, and all melted by noon. It was in Jiuzhaigou - China’s most popular and remote - national park, I first heard of the ancient trade route, the Chamagudao, or Tea Horse Road, which began over 2500 years ago when Chinese merchants started trading tea to Tibetans in exchange for horses. Part of the network of roads still winds through Jiuzhaigou today.
