She was born in the right place, well surrounded even by stars. On her cheek, the moles draw the map of the Big Dipper, so uncle Giovanni, the renowned astronomer, establishes, adding that: "It will be a sign of destiny". A great couturier and visionary artist, Elsa Schiaparelli brought an artist’s sensibility to 20th century fashion. She was the first to assign a theme to her Haute Couture collections starting in the early 1930s. Her Winter 1938-1939 famed “Zodiac” collection was inspired by the solar system, constellations, astronomy and astrology. She introduced the iconic Zodiac jacket that boasted a galaxy of micro-beaded constellations, gold-threaded planets, and 12 rhinestone-framed glyphs for each astrological sign. The exquisite handicraft of this garment was by the storied Parisian embroiderers, Albert and Marie-Louise Lesage.

Today, @danielroseberry is turning the spotlight on the astrology theme especially visible in the SS21 RTW zodiac bijoux design.
