Kenwood conducted a study under the title "1000 Flavors of Germany" to find out which dishes are the germans favorites - and the answer to the question of what germans prefer to eat is definitely colorful and diverse. The favorite dishes don’t just include roasted pork and schnitzel, but also thai curry, spaghetti bolognese and baklava. So Kenwood asked us too what our favorite dish is and that is definitely not easy to answer! One of our favorite ingredients and drinks during the cold winter month is chai tea. It always reminds us of lovely winter afternoons strolling around the city with a hot drink or on the sofa with a good book and makes the dark months super cozy. And another one is warm waffles, because what could be more comforting than a warm waffle for breakfast :) So we decided to combine these two favorites of ours and make warm waffles with a cherry compote and chai ice cream, as a real holiday treat!
