I decided I’d like to find out who the person and the dog in the photograph were, so I contacted the local press in Brighton. They featured the image on the front page and within 24 hours I had found the owner! The dog’s name is Susa. She is a gentle, good-natured chocolate Labrador who loves people. The legs in the photo belong to Robin, a friend of Susa’s owner who was walking her that day. All four of us met up at the same benches on Brighton seafront in early March.
