I was introduced to this decade old song “On The Ocean” — by @whoiskjon aka K’Jon — in #ClubQuarantine, by my friend and brother @dnice. This song literally moved me to tears from the first moment I heard the first line of the first verse — “sometimes if feels like everything is passing me by” — and I’ve been moved every time I’ve heard it since. Not because it’s a sad song. Rather, because it’s such hopeful and inspirational song. It’s a song about holding on, no matter how hard things get, because you know the best is yet to come. Love is on its way. After this year I know in my heart that — that when it comes to my band and our fans — our best days lay ahead. So I put the magic of the song On The Ocean, along with the magical images of all of us actually out “on the ocean” — on our annual NKOTB Cruise. The results are pretty special.
