Since Calvin is spending more time commuting I’m trying to work with a tripod and and a self-timer to take some photos by myself. Whenever I learn or try something new, it’s never quite right for awhile but I’ve grown to be comfortable with learning curves and not being perfect. So while the focus here is a little soft that’s okay with me because It expresses the almost imperceptible blurry quality of time right now. I feel I’m neither in nor out of the world. Today I am in the world of domestic life, that of baking holiday cookies, preparing for a Christmas Eve meal to be shared with immediate family only and wrapping final presents.
