She got stuck in Japan when the pandemic hit and has been here for nearly a year now. She first caught our eye in Harajuku when we noticed her large colorful cherry blossom chest tattoos. Our first street snap of Mary was in February. We've street snapped her many times since then and she has become a part of the Harajuku street fashion community, making many friends. Since getting stuck in Japan, she's modeled for top Japanese designers and mags including CDG, Mikio Sakabe, and Sacai. Mary didn't plan to be stuck in Japan, but like everyone else this year, she's tried to make the best of it. 2020 has been a tragic year, but we're thankful for the new friends we've made and all of the small good things amidst the big bad things.
