But there has also always been goodness. Human decency. Gentleness. Strength. Good people doing good things to help their fellows. Movies and shows, books and music served as comfort and escapism for us nestled at home. Dared us to imagine and wonder and just feel good. Technology has advanced and has allowed the world to connect with each other. People used their voices and stood up for others. Created solutions and ideas to make the world a better place. These ideas sparked movements and opened our eyes to what could be. What should be. And what will be. There is so much good. It’s pulsing and evident in everything you have done and accomplished this year. Thank you for reminding me of that. The world will heal. It always has. Just as the sun never ceases to rise.
