As an artist, i faced a challenge i didn't think i'd ever face. A diary ripped up. The opportunity to simply hustle, taken away. Or was it? Once i settled and realized what we are going through is not a short term issue, i became proactive rather than reactive. I started writing music like i've never done before. This year, i am releasing a new song every month. I am going to create as i go, and write as i go. I don't know when i'll get back to live shows, that's not in my control. So i've taken the control back. It's going to be really hard and demanding, and sometimes i'm going to have to let songs release that i don't think are perfect. That's good for me, because i often strive for perfection in art, even though i know that doesn't exist as it's subjective. Some of the music i have lined up is far and away the best i've done yet, a lot of it is the most honest.
