We wouldn’t be able to continue all this without your help! ❤ Thanks to all of you and the The Paw Project, we had many victories for cats! Here are some of the big ones! 1) VCA and Banfield stopped declawing in ALL their vet clinics. 2) The American Association of Feline Practitioners announced that they will no longer allow declawing in ALL their CAT FRIENDLY Practices. 3) There were 3 animal shelters in America that were declawing in their affiliated clinics and one of them, the Animal Shelter Society in Zanesville, OH, stopped. #Progress (The ANNA Shelter’s Wellness Centers and The Houston Humane Society’s Wellness Clinic declaws cats.) 4) We were silenced by an animal rescue director and her declawing veterinarian in MI but the director backed out of testifying on the day of the hearing. There were many lies in the legal document that silenced us. #Felony #Perjury😾 5) Because of our tireless efforts to call out Cornell for how they misused and lied about Rhoda Hogan’s large bequest that was supposed to be used to end declawing, they were forced to say that they will finally make some brochures with Mrs Hogan’s remaining $25,000. 🐾 6) Our billboard campaign in Erie, PA to try to educate the public about declawing and inspire the ANNA Shelter’s Wellness Centers and the Erie declawing vets to stop performing this inhumane amputation procedure received lots of attention and two stories in the local media. One of the vet practices in Erie stopped declawing but unfortunately the ANNA Shelter’s Wellness Centers still offer declawing. 🐾🐾🐾🐾🐈 🐈‍⬛ Onward and upward.
