In one way, though, it hasn’t mattered: from watching their work on these first episodes we’ve shot, I feel like I know them well and adore them all. And I think there’s a good chance many of you will feel the same. Consider tonight a first date. There’s a chance for a second date already scheduled for this coming Thursday, January 7th, at 9e/8/c (the normal spot for the show). A huge thank you and a major appreciation, too, to all the members of the crew I’ve obviously not been able to be there with in person but who have done some truly spectacular work (and with masks and shields on!). Many of these folks I have never met at all, but a few, like Big Bang director-alums Mark Cendrowski and Anthony Rich, I just haven’t been able to hug, as one would rightfully expect to do, greeting each other as a new chapter opens.
